About ACLT

ACLT History

The academic center for Learning and Teaching (ACLT) was born in the year 2023 as a center affiliated to the Libyan International University (LIMU).

LIMU was established in 2007 in response to unhealthy performance of higher education sector in Libya and It succeeded in creating a model of educational innovation in the country in terms of adopting and customizing recent educational strategies. As part of its efforts to build its educational capacity, LIMU offered scholarships for some of its instructors to study Master’s degree in health professional education.

ACLT was born a practical articulation of the outcome of these scholarships. LIMU is unique among other universities in the country in terms of progressive development and innovation in the field of health professional education as well as non-medical education.
